Montenegro is part of the beautiful Balkans that border the Adriatic Sea. It may not be big, but it has great natural beauty. The mountain view is unparalleled, the beaches are clean and beautiful and the sea is crystal clear.

The mountains of Montenegro offer a unique view. There is also the large freshwater lake Skadar, which Montenegro shares with its neighbors Albanians. There are many possibilities for all kinds of walks, bird watching and more. It is also fun to visit a friendly fishing village by the beach, such as Virpazar. It is highly recommended to explore the Tara River Gorge, with its dizzyingly high rock walls that rise about 1300 meters up the river. The canyon is the second largest in the world and is located in the Durmitor National Park, which is known for other majestic canyons and very diverse vegetation.
It is almost impossible to look at travel sites, as Montenegro is not mentioned as one of the hottest spots these months. And although the number of visits has certainly increased, the people of the country remain calm and treat their guests with sincere hospitality and charm.
It is often said that the Icelandic people are world champions in this and that, based on per capita. It has even been claimed that Iceland have a world record in telephone ownership. But that's not true. The world champion in mobile phone ownership is Montenegro! 1.6 telephones per capita!

Fish Picnic – by boat from Budva

We take a boat for a panoramic trip along the most beautiful part of the coast, passing by the old town of Budva, the island St. Nicola,

the hotel-island Sveti Stefan and some hidden exotic beaches . 
We stop at one of these beaches for a fish lunch with drinks (included).
There, you will have a chance to swim in the clear water and relax in the sun. 
In the afternoon we return by boat to Budva.

 Bus transfer back to the hotel, arrival estimated at 18:00


What to bring:

Bathing suits, towel, sandals. There is no special dress code but bring a long sleeve t-shirt might get chilly.

What to do in Tivat

Porto Montenegro is the only platinum-rated marina in the world and one of the most popular destinations in the Bay of Kotor. The marina lies next to Tivat center and is like an extension of the town. One of the most exciting things you can do is to take a boat tour where you can get the most incredible view of Tivat from the sea. 
Oblatno beach is home to Almara Beach Club. You can hire loungers or a day bed, orders snacks and drinks and frolic in the warm shallows. You can then continue the party on into the night with dinner in the upscale restaurant, cocktails and a dj that plays until late. 
Speaking of sunsets, Tivat is well-known for its golden hour and it is one of the best things to do in this small town. There are several places to capture this awesome moment.
Kotor is by far the Montenegro most popular attraction. The city is characterized by its authentic Old Town: A maze of cobbled streets, narrow lanes, stone churches and orange-roofed houses encased in a fortification wall and set against a backdrop of towering mountains
BUĆA GALLERY Buca Gallery is located in the  center of town, you can't miss the old stone walls and tower  of the Buća Gallery. This building was the summer residence of a noble family from Kotor called Buća.
Big Ben Restaurant is a great place to relax and have either lunch or dinner. With a fabulous view over Tivat Bay, the roof terrace at Big Ben Restaurant is a great place to watch the sunset.

Tivat nightlife phrase should definitely be renamed Porto Montenegro nightlife, given that all of the best bars and clubs are located in the most elite part of town.

The Clubhouse is a laid-back, Sydney inspired watering hole, offering stiff drinks, cold draft, and a casual vibe.

Weather in Tivat in September

Summer is still in Tivat and it is warm during the day, but it is good to have a good coat with you, as it can be cold at night.

The weather forecast is good for 22nd-25h September. In the day time it gets up to 22 degrees but goes down to 12 degrees in the night so better bring a light jacket/sweater.
